ATLANTIC CITY – Welcome to the new FRNJ Extra, exclusive stories on the Black and Latino communities you will only find on Bulletin from Front Runner New Jersey.com.

On FRNJ Extra, you will find exclusive stories building off the tradition set by Front Runner New Jersey and Front Runner La Prensa. These will include breaking news and information, features, opinions, events, fun items and much more that will highlight African Americans and Latinos in South Jersey that will inspire, move, inform and make you think.

In the near future, FRNJ Extra will also be the home of premium stories we are developing for our new subscriber base. Those stories will include special articles about the positive aspects of the communities – such as Top 10 lists, Best of FRNJ, special announcements, exclusive one-on-one interviews, special events, etc. You will want to become a subscriber to get this premium content that will spotlight trends, people and truly unique perspectives.

Front Runner New Jersey was founded on the idea of bringing positive relevant news about the African American and Latino communities that are being missed in the mainstream media. I worked for newspaper for 30 years and I personally know the stress traditional media outlets are going through.

South Jersey is truly a "news desert" with Philadelphia and northern New Jersey taking up the lion's share of the news coverage. FRNJ Extra now will help us continue to fill that gap, with exclusive stories on people, places and events that are not being covered – as well as asking questions that are not being asked of our leaders.

If you have any questions or want to tell us about people and events, send an email to clyde.hughes@yahoo.com. All messages will be monitored as well.

FRNJ Extra looks forward to engaging with readers, finding out the things they want to read about and creating a community that is well informed, involved and uplifted. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
